QUETTA: Prime Minister Imran Khan during his meeting with members of Balochistan cabinet in Quetta said that center will work with Balochistan as a partner.
The prime minister said “We will not make any such promises for which we may have to excuse later on.”
He said that government is reviewing China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and also vowed to address reservations of Balochistan by ensuring the province its due share.
He underscored that previous governments took massive loans which caused huge damages to the country.
“Country is currently facing financial issues and government will soon get rid of this difficulty,” the PM said.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan and federal ministers visited Headquarters Southern Command at Quetta Cantt.
Imran Khan has appreciated and acknowledged contributions of security forces towards improving peace, stability and socio-economic development of Balochistan.
During the visit, PM was given a comprehensive briefing on security situation, challenges and response of the province.
Imran Khan was also given briefing about the socio-economic development based Khushal Balochistan program, security if China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and progress of fencing along Pak-Afghan borders.
